CNOOC delivers final compressor model for Yamal LNG project

Reuters are reporting that China's CNOOC delivered the final LNG core module for Novatek's Yamal LNG project in Russia on 16 August.
CNOOC was commissioned to build 36 key compressor modules for the Arctic LNG project.
Novatek, with its Chinese partners and France's Total will launch Yamal LNG later this year, which will produce 16.5 million t of liquefied natural gas by 2019 as well as the gas condensate.
Novatek will ship both LNG and condensate mainly to Asia via Russia's Northern Sea route through Arctic waters.
