Yamal LNG has announced that it has successfully shipped its 20 millionth tonne of LNG since the project started operating.

According to Reuters, Asian spot prices for LNG have remained at a steady level this week, amid hot weather in Japan leading to purchasing activity, while a new US project is expected to load its first cargo soon.

Alexela has opened a fuelling station offering the world’s broadest selection of fuels in Jüri, on the outskirts of Estonia’s capital Tallinn. It is also the first public LNG filling station in the Baltic States.

According to Reuters, Tohoku Electric Power – a Japanese electric utility – is seeking an LNG cargo for delivery in September.

ExxonMobil Asia Pacific has signed a charter agreement with Singapore’s Sinanju Tankers Holdings Pte Ltd. for a two-year lease of Singapore’s first LNG-fuelled bunker tanker.
