NASA to attend LNG event

Researchers from Glenn Research Center (GRC) will be on hand at CWC’s World LNG & Gas Series: Americas Summit to discuss the current design and concept of operations for a one year science exploration mission of the hydrocarbon rich seas of Saturn’s moon, Titan.
The cryogenic Titan seas are similar in composition to LNG, predominately liquid ethane surfaces are 92 - 94K at a pressure of 1.5 bar. Therefore, the submarine represents a unique design and development opportunity for the LNG community.
GRC will be showcasing the Phase 1 and current Phase 2 design, along with video and 3D printed models of the submarine.
