Jürgen Klöpffer appointed as CFO of MAN Energy Solutions

MAN Energy Solutions has announced that Jürgen Klöpffer will join its Executive Board of on 1 June 2020 as Chief Financial Officer.

Klöpffer is taking over from Dr Peter Park, who is leaving the company after 13 years for personal reasons. The decision to appoint Klöpffer was made by the company’s Supervisory Board.

The 55-year-old, Klöpffer, who holds a degree in business administration, previously held the role of Managing Director at VW Group Services GmbH, which is based in Wolfsburg. In over 13 years at Volkswagen, the experienced manager held many leading positions, including at VW India and VW Bordnetze.

“Mr Klöpffer is joining us at an exciting time,” said MAN Energy Solutions Chief Executive Officer, Dr Uwe Lauber. “The company's transformation into a solution provider is in full swing, and I am pleased that we were able to attract such a strong successor to the role of Chief Financial Officer.

In particular, I’d like to thank Peter Park, who has played a crucial role in shaping the company over many years of service and made a decisive contribution to the development of our company strategy. I would like to thank him for his service and the close and trusting collaboration that stretched far beyond financial issues.”

Andreas Renschler, Head of the Supervisory Board of MAN Energy Solution, also expressed his gratitude: “The Board thanks Mr. Park for his long-standing engagement and wishes him well for all his future endeavors.”
