Update: Yemen LNG force majeure

Yemen LNG has released a short update on developments at its Balhaf LNG terminal, confirming that the integrity of the site and its perimeter remain intact.
The statement said: “The Balhaf site and its environs remain calm.”
Yemen LNG also announced that some of the company’s personnel remain on site, and that arrangements are in place to ensure their security, as well as the security of the site perimeter.
Yemen LNG recently announced that it has stopped all LNG operations at its plant, due to the worsening security situation in the region. The company has said that it will continue to survey closely the situation on the plant and its vicinity.
