Fugro to carry out subsea services on Ichthys LNG project

The contract includes field operations support and inspection, repair and maintenance (IRM) services. It is initially a five-year contract, but includes an option to extend this period. Fugro will provide services through its office in Perth, Australia, and will perform work under its QSHE system, which is in accordance with industry leading QHSE and operational standards.
The Divisional Director Marine and member of the board of management, Mark Heine, commented: “We are pleased to have secured this long-term contract, supporting vessel utilisation in the current challenging oil and gas market. This IRM contract fits well within our asset integrity business line, which centres around inspection and monitoring services, supporting optimal utilisation and longevity of our clients’ infrastructure.”
