Gazprom and Shell discuss LNG in Europe

In a short statement released on its website, Gazprom confirmed that its Chairman of the Management Committee, Alexey Miller, recently met with the Chief Executive Officer of Shell, Ben van Beurden in Milan, Italy.
Mr Miller and Mr van Beurden are said to have discussed the prospects for cooperation in the oil and gas sector, the current situation in the European LNG markets, as well as the status of Sakhalin II and future collaboration with the project.
