Transfield Services signs Woodside contract

Transfield Services has signed a new two-year master services agreement with Woodside to provide multidiscipline implementation services at the North West Shelf Project offshore facilities.
The contract, which has two one-year extension options, incorporates all offshore brownfield projects execution works including electrical and instrumentation, mechanical, inspection, cladding/insulation, blasting and painting, scaffolding, rope access and web decking, as well as other Perth-based support services.
Graeme Hunt, Transfield Services Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, said: “Transfield Services has worked with the Woodside-operated North West Shelf Project for more than 20 years. We are very proud of this long-standing relationship and will continue to deliver a high quality service […] This new contract expands our presence in one of Australia’s gas hubs and reflects our proven capability in large-scale asset management in the sector.”
Transfield Services also has contracts with Santos, QGC, Origin Energy, ExxonMobil, Shell and Caltex.
