Hoegh LNG wins FSRU contract in Indonesia

Hoegh LNG has signed an agreement with PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN) to provide them with an FSRU and mooring system offshore Belawan, near the city of Medan, in North Sumatra, Indonesia. The project will employ the first of Höegh LNG's new building FSRUs under construction at Hyundai Heavy Industries Ltd in Korea.

 
 
 
 
 
 

Kawasaki wins Prelude contract

Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. has been awarded a contract by Technip to supply 7 units of boilers for Shell’s floating LNG facility Prelude, the world’s first Floating LNG facility, The boilers to be supplied by Kawasaki are the largest ever in the capacity for marine use.

Daewoo wins FSRU contract from Excelerate Energy

Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co. has won a US$ 280 million deal to build a floating storage and regasification vessel. The vessel will be delivered in 2014.

Fluor to provide support services to Lithuania FLNG

Fluor Corporation has been awarded a contract by Klaipedos Nafta AB, Lithuania’s state-owned oil company, to provide engineering and business support services for a new FLNG import terminal in Klaipeda, Lithuania.
