Genting completes divestment in Indonesian FLNG

Further to the press release on 11 May 2026, Genting Berhad has announced that the divestment of 5% of interest owned by Genting LNG Pte. Ltd, the company’s 95%-owned indirect subsidiary, in PT Layar Nusantara Gas (PTLNG) to PT Raharja Gas Kasuri, a 99.99% owned subsidiary of PT Rukun Raharja Tbk (down-stream divestment), has been completed.
PTLNG is the entity developing the midstream facility and downstream inaugural floating LNG (FLNG) vessel in Indonesia, which is one of the offtakers of the natural gas produced from the Kasuri block, located in West Papua, under the Kasuri Production Sharing Contract.
The completion of the downstream divestment took place following the execution of the shareholders’ agreement and fulfilment of other conditions prece-dent provided under the share sale and purchase agreement executed by the parties in April 2026. Upon completion of the downstream divestment, the company remains the indirect majority shareholder in PTLNG, holding 95% equity interest in PTLNG.
PT Rukun Raharja Tbk’s strategic involvement is expected to bring valuable local expertise, while further reinforcing the company’s pivotal role in the LNG value chain and enhancing its regional growth prospects.
