LNG Industry,
The EU has approved financial support of a preliminary €6 million for the construction of SC Klaipedos Nafta’s LNG onshore reloading station, under its Connecting Europe Facility (CEF).
The financial support will contribute to the joint project of Helsingborg port and the Klaipedos Nafta LNG terminal, since both parties submitted an investment application through the Baltic Port Organisation.
SC Klaipedos Nafta has previously received EU support for the LNG reloading station, FEED and other preparation works. The company expects to commence with the LNG reloading station at the beginning of 2017.
