DSME, NAPA offer solution for LNG carriers
Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) and maritime software provider, NAPA, will now offer a tailored NAPA-DSME Power® solution for LNG carriers built by DSME.
Performance measurement
The solution will ensure transparent and accurate measurement of performance and efficiency onboard LNG carriers, including measurement of boil-off gas (BOG), to provide a full view of the operation of these vessels.
DSME has been working with NAPA to provide fuel saving optimisation software to the international shipping industry since 2011. The new power tool will help achieve a balance between the interests of ship operators and cargo owners on performance and efficient, reporting information clearly to all involved parties.
