Pentair introduces new triple offset valve

Pentair Valves & Controls, a subsidiary of Pentair, has recently launched its new manual triple offset valve, Series 30-RS, adding to the company’s Vanessa triple offset valves product line. The valve is designed to address the need for zero leakage isolation in non-critical applications in the oil and gas and process industries.

The Vanessa 30-RS is specifically designed for applications that require non-critical fluids isolation in lower pressure or temperature. It has a safer bolted-on seat that allows for true positive isolation when pressure is applied from the shaft side. Consequently, the risk of dangerous mechanical failure compared to other bolted-seat designs is maximised. Safety has been improved compared to other valves of this kind – for example, the all-metal design ensures fire resistance and reduces the need for maintenance.

The new Vanessa option from Pentair Valves & Controls achieves zero leakage tightness to API 598. It, therefore, provides a solution for operators who seek premium performance, upgraded valve designs and reduced maintenance requirements. The Series 30-RS handles temperatures up to 350°C and pressures up to ASME class 300.

"This addition to Pentair’s triple offset valve portfolio has its own unique features and complements our Vanessa Series 30 000 range by offering customers a choice for maximum versatility and safety in non-critical isolation operations,” comments Alberto Bertamoni, Global Business Director of Triple Offset Valves at Pentair Valves & Controls.
