LPP to showcase technology at GPA

LNG Industry,

Linde Process Plants, Inc. (LPP) will showcase its cryogenic natural gas liquid (NGL) recovery technology and liquefied natural gas (LNG) technologies at the Gas Processors Association (GPA) convention, which will take place from 13 - 16 April, 2014. The GPA convention is an annual event, focused on processing of conventional and unconventional natural gas (shale gas). This year, the conference will be held at the Omni Hotel in Dallas, Texas.

LPP, a member of the Linde Engineering Division of The Linde Group, a leader in the LNG & NGL markets, provides many industry standard and proprietary solutions for NGL recovery. The company’s CRYO-PLUSTM technology provides solutions for maximising ethane and propane recovery rates while maintaining optimum capital and operating expenditures. CRYO-PLUSTM allows gas processors to operate across a wide range of conditions, providing flexibility to meet their needs.

StarLNGTM

LPP will also be highlighting their new StarLNGTM family of LNG solutions. StarLNGTM is a LNG solution based on the Linde LIMUM® mixed refrigerant technology or nitrogen expander cycle. The fully designed and engineered StarLNGTM package can be customised to the processing conditions and product specifications required by customers. LPP has designed the StarLNGTM family to work with the Linde Engineering Schalchen plate-fin heat exchangers and cold boxes; providing customers a single source throughout the natural gas value chain.

Opportunity

Attendees will have several opportunities to spend time with Linde experts throughout the conference:

  • Vendor Night, Sunday evening Linde experts will be available to discuss its various LNG and NGL technologies and applications at their booth. In addition, a model of its Plate Fin Heat Exchanger (PFHE) will be present for attendees to see the equipment first hand.
  • Monday afternoon, Technical Section A. A paper will be presented on solving business challenges with shale gas processing.
  • Linde hospitality suite, Monday evening. Tina Edvardsson, Director Business Development, said: “Attendees can learn how Linde’s standard LNG plant concept integrates perfectly into Linde’s standard NGL plant (STANDARD-PLUSTM) which provides ultimate performance and cost savings.”
  • The Tuesday hospitality luncheon is open to all attendees to enjoy lunch with the engineers from Linde.
