Magnolia LNG on track

Liquefied Natural Gas Limited continues to develop its 8 million tpa Magnolia liquefied natural gas (LNG) export project at Lake Charles, Louisiana. The company has provided a general update on the development progress, covering the period from 1^st December through 31^st December 2013.

• Two supplementary documents were filed with the FERC on 12^th and 13^th December, including engineering information.
• A monthly conference call was held with FERC staff on 19^th December, to review the current status of the project and for FERC to provide its initial comments on the draft Resource Reports which were submitted in November 2013.
• The draft air emissions protocol was submitted to the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality (LDEQ) on 9^th December.
• The draft Follow-On Waterway Suitability Assessment was submitted to the US Coast Guard on 12^th December.

LNG Limited also held a number of stakeholder meetings, including the Waterway Suitability Assessment workshop on 10^th December for the G2X Energy Gas-to-Liquids project to be located across the Industrial Canal in the Port of Lake Charles from the project.
