DOE releases US LNG export data

The US Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of Fossil Energy has released data outlining US LNG import and export totals for 1Q16.

According to the data, Sabine Pass Liquefaction LLC shipped four vessels of domestically produced LNG to Brazil, India and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in 1Q16. In total, Sabine Pass Liquefaction exported approximately 11.5 million ft³ of LNG from its LNG export terminal, located on the Sabine Pass River in Cameron Parish, Louisiana, US. The price at export point for each of the cargoes varied from US$3.35 million Btu to US$3.77 million Btu.

According to the report, American LNG Marketing LLC exported close to 4.5 million ft³ of LNG via ISO containers to Barbados.
