Venture Global LNG submits resource report

Venture Global LNG’s subsidiary, Venture Global Calcasieu Pass, has submitted Resource Report 13 to the US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).

The report is for Calcasieu Pass, a natural gas liquefaction and export facility located in Cameron Parish, Louisiana.

Commenting on the progress, Fory Musser, Senior VP of Venture Global LNG, said: “The submission of draft Resource Report 13 to the FERC marks a significant milestone for Calcasieu Pass as it demonstrates the steady and timely progress we’ve made in the development of our multi-billion dollar export facility. Venture Global LNG is now one step closer to delivering low-cost, reliable natural gas to the world.”

Venture Global Calcasieu Pass remains on track to submit its final FERC application in August 2015. This submission will be another important milestone in the company’s plan to receive the permits and approvals to begin the construction and operation of its planned 10 million tpy LNG export facility.
