According to Reuters, Gunvor offered the lowest prices to supply LNG to Pakistan for the majority of cargoes sought by the importer across the October to December period.

Reuters reports that, despite this, the tender did attract interest from a number of Asian companies. Gunvor reportedly submitted the lowest offers for six cargo delivery slots. DXT Commodities, Vitol, a unit of PetroChina and Socar Trading, meanwhile, reportedly submitted the lowest bids for the other four delivery slots.

According to Reuters, a total of nine companies qualified to supply four cargoes in October, two in November and four in December. These included JERA Global Markets and a unit of PetroChina Co. Ltd.

Reuters reports that Pakistan LNG does not announce the awards of its tenders, only the lowest bidders.
