Nakilat claims that this is part of the planned and phased transition that was announced on 19 October 2016. The vessel has a cargo carrying capacity of 210 200 m3, is wholly-owned by Nakilat, and is chartered by Qatargas. It was constructed by Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) in South Korea, and was delivered in February 2009. It has been in service ever since.
