Elengy and Gate sign MoU to develop LNG truck loading and bunkering services

LNG Industry,

Elengy has released a statement claiming that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Gate terminal to cooperate in the development of LNG related services, such as truck loading and bunkering. The MoU was signed by the Commercial Director of Gate, Stefaan Adriaens, and the Commercial Director of Elengy, Pierre Cotin.

Elengy claims that it shares Gate’s vision that European gas markets are becoming increasingly interconnected, and that LNG terminal services can strengthen this trend by developing multi-site features.

Specifically, Gate and Elengy will look to standardise their practices to make truck loading safer, simpler and more efficient. In addition to this, both parties will study plans to support the rise of LNG logistics by small carriers, notably for new LNG applications, such as LNG as a marine fuel.
