GTT receives new order for two LNG carriers

Gaztransport & Technigaz (GTT) has received an order to two LNG carriers, which will be built by Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME).
The two LNG carriers, which will be operated by BW Group, are scheduled for delivery in 2018 and 2019.
Both LNG carriers will be equipped with GTT’s NO96 GW technology, which allows an optimised boil-off rate of LNG cargo.

GTT has announced a fall in operating income but expects a recovery in 2H15.
GTT’s Mark III Flex technology has been selected for a newbuild FSRU, to be built by Hyundai Heavy Industries.
The new visual identity is said to better reflect GTT’s values and its spirit of innovation.
GTT has confirmed a climb in revenues for the first nine months of 2014.
