According to Reuters, three unnamed traders have said that Shell has offered LNG cargoes for loading from 2021 onwards for a period of at least five years through a tender.

This is an unusual move, with the traders adding that the firm has issued a five-year strip tender offering four cargoes per year from next year onwards, with an option to extend for an additional five years.
According to Reuters, the traders noted that this tender will close on 18 May, and that the cargoes are likely for loading from Australia.
