According to the latest Reuters report, Asian LNG spot prices have fallen to a three-week low.

As it stands, new LNG cargoes continue to be offered in a market where little buying interest exists currently. This is despite the approach of Summer, during which there is usually a spike in demand for power generation.

Spot market prices for delivery to Asia in July are now down to US$5.35 per million Btu, having experienced a 30 cent decline from the previous week’s estimates. Deliveries for June are also reportedly down 30 cents, and now stand at US$5.30 per million Btu.
