According to Reuters, Cheniere Energy is set to commission its first LNG cargo from the Corpus Christi terminal on 15 November 2018.

This is reportedly months ahead of schedule, and will signal the start of operations at the facility. The terminal is Cheniere’s second LNG export facility, and the third major export facility in the US.

Reuters reports that commissioning work has been carried out on the terminal since summer, and that, although it was scheduled to come onstream in 1H19, Cheniere reportedly previously stated that first LNG was scheduled before the end of the year.
