According to Reuters, Alexander Popov, Vice President of Exxon Neftegaz, has spoken at an LNG conference organised by Vostock Capital, stating that ExxonMobil’s Russian unit could look to make a decision this year on the front end engineering and design (FEED) for its Far East LNG project with Rosneft.
Reportedly, the company is still in discussion regarding gas supplies from the Sakhalin 1 oil and gas project to Sakhalin 2 – a project that needs gas in order for it to expand its LNG production.
