According to Reuters, Gazprom is set to sign a deal with Shell regarding a Baltic LNG project at a forum in St Petersburg, Russia, in June 2016.
It is expected that the facility will be constructed by December 2021. It will have a total production capacity of up to 20 million tpy of LNG.
Yuri Ushakov, a Kremlin aide, reportedly said that Shell CEO Ben van Beurden will sign the deal in the presence of the Russian President, Vladimir Putin.

Several Baltic ports have agreed to invest €8 100 000 for an environmental project, which includes plans for LNG bunkering operations.
