Engie, Fluxys, Mitsubishi Corp. and NYK took delivery of the vessel earlier in the year. It was constructed by Hanjin Heavy Industries & Construction Co. Ltd at the Yeongdo shipyard in Busan, South Korea.
The Engie Zeebrugge is 107.60 m long and has a breadth of 18.40 m. It has a gross tonnage of 7403 t, and has an LNG capacity of 5000 m3. Its main engine is dual-fuel, capable of operating on marine gas oil (MGO), marine diesel oil (MDO) and LNG.
Zeebrugge, Belgium, is the vessel’s home port. From here, the vessel provides LNG as a marine fuel for ships operating in Northern Europe.
