LNG Industry,

The LNG market has shown an interest in securing LNG truck loading services at the Zeebrugge LNG terminal from 2014 to 2023.

Fluxys has announced that approximately 1850 loading slots were booked for 2014 during the October – November subscription window – double the forecasted 800 loadings for this year. An additional 1770 loading slots were booked from 2015 onwards.

Fluxys reports that the market is pleased with recent innovations to the LNG truck loading services, including a new 24/7 system available from January 2014. A new online tool will also be available to enable customers to schedule their loadings and reschedule any slot until 11:00 CET the day before the initial booking. The online tool also offers a quantity and quality report, which is available straight after loading.

During the subscription window, five new customers have signed up for LNG truck loading services. The Zeebrugge LNG terminal currently has a capacity of 4000 LNG truck loadings per year. All remaining slots are available on a first come first served basis.
