GTT receives new LNG carrier order

Gaztransport & Technigaz (GTT) has received a new order for an LNG carrier, which will be built by Imabari Shipbuilding Co. Ltd. 

The LNG carrier, for Mitsui & Co., will be built with the Mark III Flex technology.

Philippe Berterottière, Chairman and CEO of GTT, said: "We are very pleased that Imabari Shipbuilding Co. Ltd. has decided to renew its trust in our technologies. This new order also confirms the importance of our innovation policy. Out of 31 orders recorded over the last six months, 30 use technologies which were launched over the last three years".

The LNG carrier is expected to be delivered in 2020.
