Infographic: BG Group Q3 2014 results

BG Group’s revenue and other operating income climbed 4% to US$ 4 581 million in Q3 2014, while its total operating profit fell 26% to US$ 1 312 million.

BG’s LNG total operating profit fell 4% to US$576 million, although the company ha snot changed its 2014 LNG guidance.

BG Group’s Queensland Curtis LNG (QCLNG) project, which will deliver 8.5 million tpa of capacity, remains on schedule for first LNG in Q4 2014 and within the company’s Phase 1 budget of US$ 20.4 billion.

Meanwhile, earlier this month BG Group announced the appointment of Helge Lund as Chief Executive. Mr Lund will join the group in March 2015.

BG Group appoints Chief Executive

Helge Lund, the CEO of Statoil, has been appointed as the Chief Executive and as an Executive Director of BG Group with effect from 2 March 2015.
