CNOOC launches 4-cargo LNG buy tender-trade

Reuters are reporting that China’s CNOOC has launched a tender to buy four LNG cargoes for delivery in November and December.

Bids must be submitted by Wednesday.

China’s imports of LNG rose 39.7% in August from a year earlier to 3.14 million t, underscoring the pace of demand growth in one of the world’s biggest LNG consumers.
