The U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) will bring a delegation of energy sector decision makers from Egypt, Jordan, and Morocco to the US to showcase US LNG technologies that can promote US LNG exports by supporting the development of priority gas infrastructure in the Middle East and North Africa.
While in the US from September 19 – 30, the 16-member delegation of public and private energy entity representatives will travel to Washington, DC, where the President’s National Energy Dominance Council will host a US Government Engagement Day at the White House, connecting the delegation with senior officials from relevant federal agencies. The delegation will also travel to Houston, Texas, where they will meet US LNG infrastructure companies and see demonstrations of cutting-edge US LNG technologies.
USTDA will host a public business briefing in Houston on 24 September 2026, where US companies can hear directly from the delegation about upcoming LNG infrastructure plans and engage one-on-one with delegates to showcase their LNG technology solutions.
Egypt, Jordan, and Morocco are expanding their gas industry investments, including LNG imports, pipeline and storage capacity, and new natural gas applications. These investments are creating opportunities for US companies to supply LNG and natural gas products, services and technologies.
