Indian Oil buys commissioning cargo for Ennore LNG terminal

Reuters is reporting that Indian Oil Corp. (IOC) has bought a partial LNG cargo for the commissioning of its new Ennore terminal in southern India.

According to reports, the cargo was acquired from Gunvor at a rate of US$9.50 – 9.90 per million Btu. It has been scheduled to be delivered later this month.

The 5 million tpy import terminal at Kamarajar port is the first of India’s east coast terminals to be nearing start-up.
