GTT awarded AiP for LNG cargo handling system

Gaztransport & Technigaz (GTT) has been awarded an Approval in Principle (AiP) by the China Classification Society (CCS) for its cargo handling system on an LNG bunkering ship concept, which is suitable for Mark III and NO96 technologies.

The Chairman and CEO of GTT, Philippe Berterottière, said: “We are very pleased to receive this AIP from CCS. Our cooperation in China is growing throughout the years and we are looking forward to further working together with CCS and our other Chinese partners on projects related to small scale LNG infrastructures and use of LNG as marine fuel, which are promising markets in China.”

GTT to present at CCS

GTT’s Chairman and CEO, Philippe Berterottière, will give a lecture at the CCS (Chinese Classification Society) LNG Technology Seminar.

GTT bunker barge approved in principle

Gaztransport & Technigaz subsidiary, GTTNA, has received ABS approval for the design of an LNG bunker barge which will incorporate GTT's CCS.
