According to the latest Reuters report, British wholesale gas prices fell on 1 August due to higher Norwegian and LNG supply and lower exports.
British within-day gas price dropped 0.75 pence at 38.75 pence per therm.
Day-ahead gas price also 0.75 pence lower at 38.65 p/therm.
Traders said higher Norwegian flows were weighing on prices.
An unplanned outage at the FLAGS pipeline which transports gas from the Brent platforms to St Fergus gas terminal has ended.
UK gas exports to continental Europe are also lower.
