President of the BC LNG Alliance, David Keane, has made the following statement in response to the federal government’s capital cost allowance announcement, which will help support the country’s LNG industry:

“Today’s announcement by the federal government encourages the development of a robust LNG industry in British Columbia [B.C].  Developing B.C.’s LNG industry will create thousands of new jobs for Canadians, jobs that will last for generations to come and guarantee the investment of tens of billions of dollars into Canada’s economy.  The BC LNG Alliance and its members will continue to work with First Nations and stakeholders to ensure there are policies and programmes in place that enable our industry to reach its full potential.”
