Alfa Laval has released a statement claiming that it has received an order to supply compact heat exchangers to a US LNG plant. The order is valued at approximately SEK60 million, and was ordered through the Energy and Process segment. It is scheduled for delivery in 2016.

The heat exchangers will make the LNG project more energy efficient by recovering and reusing the heat in the gas-cleaning process.

Lars Renström, the President and CEO of the Alfa Laval Group, said: “This is an order from an oil and gas customer in the US, to whom we have delivered similar equipment on a previous occasion. Being a repeat order, it confirms that we live up to the expectations on product quality and order execution set by the major players in the industry.”
