King & Spalding advises on Jordan Cove LNG export terminal

King & Spalding has announced that it has advised Jordan Cove LNG LLC in the development of a contract for the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of an LNG export terminal.

The terminal, located in Coos Bay, Oregon, US, will have a liquefaction capacity of almost 8 million tpy, and will be the first LNG export terminal on the West Coast. Once complete, King & Spalding claims that it will be the most advanced of four LNG terminal facilities located in the Pacific Northwest.

The King & Spalding team was led by Houston-based global transactions partner Scott Greer, and associate Jonathan Katz.
