Chevron has released a video documenting the progress of its Wheatstone LNG project in Western Australia. The foundation project will consist of two LNG trains, with an overall production capacity of 8.9 million tpy of LNG, plus a 200 terajoule per day domestic gas plant. The project has also received approval to expand production to 25 million tpy of LNG, with the first cargo expected in mid-2017. The video, which includes footage of the spool and flowline tie-ins, the export jetty, LNG and condensate export loading arms, etc., can be viewed below.
