FSRU Lampung receives third LNG cargo

According to PGN, the FSRU Lampung has received its third cargo of LNG from the Tangguh LNG project.

On arrival in Labuan Maringgai, the LNG carriers docked immediately to the FSRU Lampung to unload and deliver the LNG. The process took approximately 38 – 40 hours, and was completed at 10pm on 23 November.

Nisi Setyobudi, Director of PGN LNG Indonesia, said that the fourth cargo of LNG is expected at the end of December.

Hoegh LNG’s FSRU Lampung, located 6 km offshore Lampung, Indonesia has a 170,000 m3 storage capacity and is capable of regasifying 240 million ft3/d of gas.

Hoegh LNG wins FSRU contract in Indonesia

Hoegh LNG has signed an agreement with PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN) to provide them with an FSRU and mooring system offshore Belawan, near the city of Medan, in North Sumatra, Indonesia. The project will employ the first of Höegh LNG's new building FSRUs under construction at Hyundai Heavy Industries Ltd in Korea.
