Fairwood LNG has appointed Kailash Singal as Project Engineering Director to develop its first floating liquefaction vessel.
Mr. Singal will work closely with Bechtel – the FEED contractor for this project - to design and develop its first project, Port Delfin.
Mr. Singal, who was most recently a project technical manager on Cheniere Energy Inc.’s Corpus Christi liquefaction facility, said: “I am very excited to be joining the Fairwood team. I believe this project is a high quality project that is very well positioned for success. I look forward to delivering a safe, reliable, maintainable, and operable floating liquefaction vessel on or before schedule and within budget.”
Frederick Jones, the CEO of Fairwood, added: “We are excited to have Mr. Singal on board, and we are proud of our ability to attract top-notch engineering talent. Not only does Kailash bring decades of relevant LNG expertise, his most recent position with a competing project provides firsthand experience in developing a world-class liquefaction project in the Gulf region. We look forward to welcoming Kailash to our team.”
