PT PLN (Persero) has released its medium and long-term plan, which includes providing small and medium scale gas fired power plants within the outer Java regions, Indonesia, in the short-term to help solve the deficit of power supply.

The company’s mid-term plan is to provide sufficient gas power plants to meet each region’s peak demand.

The company intends to prequalify a firm or consortium to provide LNG supply, LNG transportation, and LNG infrastructure (hub storage and regasification) for the gas fired power plants, with a total capacity of approximately 2800 MW.

PT PLN (Persero) has issued an invitation to firms and consortiums from Indonesia or other countries that have diplomatic relations with Indonesia. Foreign companies must engage reputable Indonesian companies as members of their consortiums.

Eligible applicants may register to collect the prequalification document from 17 - 24 March, after payment of a non-refundable fee of Rp. 5 million.
