Nikkiso Cryo purchases JC Carter business

Nikkiso Cryo Inc., a subsidiary of Nikkiso Co. Ltd, has announced that it has purchased the Atlas Copco JC Carter business for an undisclosed amount.

The acquisition of the business, which was part of Atlas Copco's Gas and Process division within the Compressor technique business area, will include assets commercial rights, engineering, technology, patents and licenses for the JC Carter cryogenic pump business. However, it does not include existing contracts, which will be completed by Atlas Copco though a joint agreement with Nikkiso Cryo to perform testing and other services.

Some of Atlas Copco JC Carter's 35 employees will be transferred to Nikkiso Cryo, while others will remain with Atlas Copco.

Dave Cameron, President and CEO of Nikkiso Cryo., said: “We are very pleased and proud to add the JC Carter business to our Nikkiso Cryo family, which continues to grow and provide improved products and services to our customers.”
