BOOM Logistics reaches Gorgon LNG safety milestone

BOOM Logistics has announced a significant safety milestone of 1000 days Recordable Injury Free (RTI) for its work on the Gorgon LNG project in Western Australia.

BOOM has been involved with Chevron’s Gorgon LNG project since 2011, having been awarded the contract to supply cranes and associated resources to assist in the construction of the Barrow Island Workers Village. BOOM has since provided cranes, labour and ancillary equipment to a host of major industrial service providers and construction companies involved in the Gorgon LNG project.

BOOM is committed to looking after the health and safety of its customers, people, environment and community. The company’s ultimate goal is to achieve injury and incident free work sites and zero environmental incidents.

Chevron increases LNG spending

CB&I Kentz JV awarded Gorgon LNG contract

A joint venture between CB& I and Kentz Corporation Limited have been awarded a contract for the mechanical, electrical and instrumentation work on the Gorgon Project on Barrow Island, Western Australia.
