Reuters is reporting that Cheniere Energy is currently conducting scheduled maintenance on Trains 3 and 4 at the Sabine Pass LNG export terminal.

No specific date has been given for the trains return to service, however, Cheniere has stated that the work – and therefore the timescale – would be comparable to that which was carried out on Trains 1 and 2 earlier this year, which lasted three weeks.

As a result of the maintenance, the total amount of gas flowing to Sabine Pas has reportedly fallen to 2.3 billion ft3/d from 3.8 billion ft3/d.
