Final Santos GLNG module leaves the Philippines

Santos GLNG has confirmed that the last of its LNG modules has left Batangas, Philippines. The LNG module is bound for Curtis Island in Gladstone, Australia.

Santos GLNG has also said that all 111 of its GLNG modules are complete after two years of construction.

The Santos GLNG Project is a US$ 18.5 billion venture to convert coal bed methane (CBM) to LNG for export to global markets.

Earlier this week, WDS Ltd announced that it had been awarded the Santos GLNG Fairview Eastern Flank Phase construction contract. The project is for the installation of facilities for 74 gas wells and includes the connected gas and water gathering systems and high voltage power.
