Sabine Pass project behind schedule

Sabine Pass LNG L.P. and Sabine Pass Liquefaction LLC (Sabine Pass) have provided its monthly construction progress report for the Sabine Pass Liquefaction Project.

According to the October 2015 report, the project is slightly behind schedule. Stage 1 (trains 1 and 2) overall project completion is 96.1% compared to the planned 98.2%. Stage 1 engineering and procurement is 100% complete, while subcontract and direct hire construction work are 84.1% and 93.5% complete, respectively.

Overall project completion for stage 2 (trains 3 and 4) is 76.7% against the plan of 81.8%. Engineering at this stage is also 100% complete, with subcontract and direct hire construction work at 50.4% and 48.5%, respectively.

The stage 3 baseline schedule is being finalised and progress reporting will start in November 2015.
