Elengy launches LNG training programme
Elengy, in collaboration with the certified training centre ‘Energy Formation’, has launched a training programme to support the development of small scale LNG at the Montoir-de-Bretagne terminal.
Since 2013, Elengy has been developing a truck loading LNG small scale service at its Fos Tonkin and Montoir-de-Bretagne terminals, where over 500 truck loadings has already been made.
This training programme is aimed at operators of carriers using or transporting LNG, port services wanting to switch to LNG, industrial users building storage and regasification facilities, and at all engineering consultants and supporting fire-respondents.
The one-day training course offers a practical approach to the LNG industry and to the safety of LNG truck loading operations. The training includes a theoretical introduction along with hands-on fire-fighting exercises supervised by trainers and field operators.
The first training session will take place on 25 February 2015. Interested parties can register for a place here.
