dmg :: events (global energy)  and NGV Global have announced a partnership to deliver a forum to discuss the commercial opportunities within the expanding Asian NGV market at Gastech Singapore, 27 – 30 October 2015.

The strategic decision to introduce an NGV Zone will showcase the latest technological advances and highlight the increased flexibility to use natural gas within transportation.

Recently released statistics show that half of the world’s NGV’s and stations are in Asia with growth in both averaging 20% per year. In a recent report, Navigant Research predicted that by 2022 medium and heavy-duty vehicles (M-HDVs) powered by natural/methane gas could reach 3.7 million units (up from 2.09 million in December 2013) and 76.2% of the market for buses and trucks will be in Asia.

With the key growth markets based in Asia, the partnership between NGV Global and Gastech Singapore will connect suppliers and buyers within NGV. Attendees at the event include over 400 VIPs who represent some of the world’s biggest companies and key government officials who decide future energy policies.

NGV companies will network, showcase technology and secure business across the whole international gas community by helping decision makers understand how NGV can positively impact their business commercially and environmentally.

With over 50 000 m2 of exhibition space and 20 000 visitors and decision makers, from across the natural gas value chain, Gastech will deliver an audience eager to learn about NGV.

The dedicated zone and Presentation Theatre will house NGV Centres of Technical Excellence (CoTEs). These free-to-attend seminars are dedicated to delivering knowledge and awareness of technological developments and applications and will offer exclusive content curated by experts from NGV Global and Gastech. It will showcase the latest practical implications of NGV technology and commercial opportunities, and is supported by dedicated networking areas to facilitate dialogue.
