MOL holds naming ceremony for LNG Venus
Mitsui O.S.K. Lines has held a naming ceremony for the LNG Venus, a newbuilding liquefied natural gas carrier, at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries’ Nagasaki shipyard.
The vessel is currently under construction at the MHI shipyard and will serve Osaka Gas upon completion, under a charter contract. Osaka Gas President, Hiroshi Ozaki, named the vessel.
The LNG Venus is co-owned by MOL and Osaka Gas' wholly owned subsidiary, Osaka Gas International Transport Inc.
